Dec 5, 2010 Annual Toy Run - Traffic Avoidance Information
From Agripina Neubauer, Foothills Area Command:
The annual motorcycle toy run will be held this year on Sunday, December 5th. This is an amazing event that collects toys and food for needy families for the Holidays.
Please pass this information on to your neighbors so they can avoid traffic problems on Dec. 5th.
The event will start at Manzano High School at 11:00 am. There will be hundreds of motorcycles in the parade. The route will be as follows: East on Lomas from Manzano High School to Tramway, north on Tramway to Sandia Casino. The parade should last about 20-30 minutes and will tie up traffic for that time period. All major intersections and tributary streets will be blocked until the whole procession goes through. The best thing to do is avoid the area from 11am until 11:30.
Thank you,
