From APD - Final Days/Evenings to View Recovered Stolen Property at the Foothills Substation
The Foothills Area Command will have 2 open houses for burglary victims to view the large amount of recovered stolen property we are holding at the station before the property is turned over to APD’s Evidence Unit.
Those dates and times are:
Tuesday, January 28th from Noon to 8:00 pm
Saturday, February 1st from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Both open house viewings will be at the APD Foothills Substation at 12800 Lomas Blvd NE (between Juan Tabo and Tramway).
Instructions to view property:
• Please contact the front office staff at 332-5240 to make an appointment with Foothills Impact Detective Clipp in order to view the recovered stolen property we are holding here.
• You will need to have your burglary police report case number when you make your appointment.
• Bring a copy of your burglary police report with you or tell our staff you will need a copy printed for you before your appointment.
Important Notes to Read BEFORE you Call the Front Office Staff:
• We do not have jewelry; if you were burglarized and only jewelry was taken, we do not have your property here at the Foothills substation.
• If you were burglarized after January 10th, 2014 we do not have your property here.
• If you were burglarized prior to 2010, we do not have your property here.
• The property recovered by our officers came from multiple burglaries throughout Albuquerque, not just the Foothills Area Command.
This information is being shared city-wide with all of the Crime Prevention team for Crime Prevention Specialists in each Area Command to forward to their neighborhood partners in the hopes of reuniting victims with their property.
Please funnel your phone calls and inquiries to the Foothills front office staff, not other Area Command Substations, to be served as quickly and efficiently as possible.
