Crime Alerts From One of Our Neighbors
One of our neighbors sent the following infromation to us and asked us to pass it along to make the rest of our neighbors aware of what is going on in our neighborhood - please pass this along to your neightbors.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
One: in March, a young woman was attacked on the Tramway bike trail. I will be checking further to find out more about what happened and in particular, if she was raped.
Two: a resident whose house backs up to the bike trail reported a man looking in the windows. She wasn't able to get a good look at him.
Three: a young girl was raped in the arroyo near EHS last week. She was hit from behind. She may have been dragged under the bridge where Juan Tabo crosses over the arroyo. When she regained consciousness, she discovered she had been raped and her clothes were torn (another report I heard from another officer was that she woke up and her clothes were gone). The girl never saw her attacker and was unable to provide any details about him. Initial reports was that this was a homeless man, but that doesn't make sense to me.
Four: people on the Tramway bike trail called the police to report a man walking around, oogling women
Five: this morning, two young women walking on the Tramway bike trail near the Rover bridge were attacked. An Anglo man in sweats and a hoodie, about 6 feet tall, wearing sunglasses, grabbed one of them. When she screamed and the other girl yelled at him, he let the girls go and ran away. The police were unable to find him. Later, other walkers reported the man had seemed "creepy" to them.
Please help others know about this. It certainly seems like this man lives in the area.
