Foothills Crime: Please share with your community -- churches are showing up as crime targets
From APD:
Hello Foothills Area Command Community Leaders,
I am watching our crime trends in the Foothills this week and I have noted 3 churches in the area command since Friday have been targeted for burglaries since last Friday.
Please share this information with your faith community.
I am available by appointment to walk the property with a representative from the church/temple/etc and offer crime prevention suggestions.
We have had reports of ladders being stolen and dropped and left behind; sheds, offices and snack machines broken into, and weekly offering collections stolen.
Please help me get the word out to your faith community and I can help if they contact me at the number below.
The more ‘eyes’ on these properties, the better and being willing to call 242-COPS (2677) from a safe place to report casing or 911 if a crime is in progress will help us help our faith community.
